About wikillm

wikillm turns AI research papers into pages you can implement from, for engineers and for the coding agents that work with them.

What a paper page contains

  • In plain words: the idea and why it matters, without jargon.
  • Method: the algorithm step by step, with pseudocode and the key equations.
  • Hyperparameters: every value the paper and its official code use, including the ones the paper leaves out.
  • Results: the headline numbers with their setup, as reported by the authors.
  • Paper vs code and Pitfalls: where the released code differs from the paper, and what tends to go wrong when you reimplement it.

Concept pages compare the methods for one problem across papers and help you choose between them.

How pages are made

Pages are compiled by an AI model (Claude) from each paper's LaTeX source and its official code repository. Every number and claim cites the section, table, equation or line of code it comes from, so you can check it. A page marked “not yet reviewed by a human” has not been checked by a person yet.

Licensing

We only publish papers whose authors chose an open license that allows reuse: CC BY, CC BY-SA or CC0. Each page names the paper's authors, links the original and states its license. Pages are not affiliated with or endorsed by the authors.

For coding agents

Every page is available as plain markdown by adding .md to its URL. Agents can start at llms.txt, use the search API, or connect the MCP server at https://wikillm.com/mcp.
